Welcome! If you're here, you must be wondering what sort of opportunities our company may provide for you. Well first, here's a little about us:
Started in 1988, we are a locally owned and operated company. We started out with the goal of creating a company where we ourselves would be proud to work: a company based on innovation and hard work, where talent and respect rule, not specific schooling or a sexy resume (not that any of that hurts!). We work diligently with our employees to develop the skills required to move them to the next step. With on-going training, steady and specific feedback, regular reviews and open discussion, we hope to grow their skills and understanding, encouraging them to take risks. We differ in that we are willing to take risks and amend the consequences in pursuit of honest and creative growth.
If that isn't enough, CHOW's employees have many various benefits within our company, ranging from medical, dental and optical insurances, paid vacations and all-CHOW restaurant discount (front- and back-of-the-house managers also receive monthly dining allowances to be used within the company). General Managers and Chefs can also enjoy the added perk of travel to various ports-of-call when researching and developing Food Festival Menus.
It may sound like "champagne wishes and caviar dreams," but it's a lot of work and a ton of fun! It's worth it!
