Granola
1 # rolled oats
6 weighted oz of sliced almonds
5 weighted oz pumpkin seeds
1/4 # rough chopped or whole hazelnuts
2 weighted oz sesame seeds
6 weighted oz honey
3/4 cup real maple syrup
2 weighted oz butter
Mix oats, nuts and seeds together.
Melt the butter then mix with the honey & syrup.
Pour this liquid over the nut mix and stir until well coated.
Spray 1 to 2 sheet pans (cookie baking sheets) with pan coating.
Spread the mix evenly over the pans.
Bake at 300 degrees, stirring very frequently.
Bake until light golden in color.
The granola will continue to color a bit after taking it out of the oven and will 'crisp' while cooling.
Cool completely on sheet pans before storing in an airtight container.
